A survey grid is constructed by traversing and using the Global Positioning System (GPS) and surveying reference lines such as road edges, pavements, culverts and fences.

A survey is done to indicate the presence of underground services, manhole covers, cable marks, utility bridges, etc.

Different profiles and cross-sections displayed enables the management to have detailed records and planners and designers to plan future developments.

Data is collected in the World Geodetic System (WGS84) coordinate system. The  data is also available in RSO and State Cassini system.
